Short and easy walks
The Windsor and District Ramblers is a UK walking group for people of all ages living in East Berkshire. We are part of the Ramblers a registered charity, and were formed in 1995. We are a small and friendly bunch who welcome other walkers to join us on any of our walks.
Our regular walks take place on a Sunday, but we have two shorter walks mid week each month that end with a coffee and social chat. Walks longer than 6 miles usually include a picnic lunch stop, and depending on the leader we may also visit a country pub or café.
We aim to offer an informal and relaxed approach to enjoying the countryside and villages in the east of the county. Occasionally we venture further afield; we are currently walking the Kennett and Avon Canal in stages.
Details of all the walks can be found on the right.
Please contact the walk leader (name and telephone number is given with the details of the walk) if you have any questions.
