From Painswich over fields following Damsells stream , climb steep hill up to Royal William pub , before entering Popes and Jim's wood. Return via Painswick Beacon , passing Catbrain quarry to our starting point. 3 stiles. One long climb. One shorter climb. Bring picnic. Various places to eat in Painswick.
