This is a circular route which starts with  a long steady climb from Pencelli up to Carn Pica where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Beacons before descending to Talybont reservoir.   Crossing over the reservoir and joining the Usk Valley walk back to Pencelli. 12.7 miles , 2,703ft
