Overview

Starting near to Swanbridge Cross in the village of Sully, the walk will head under the old Penarth to Barry railway line, through Cog Farm before entering Cosmeston Country Park. It will the proceed through Old Cogan woods and the site of the ancient village to St. Peter's Church for a coffee/lunch stop. Walking back through the park to the visitor centre, the route skirts the east side of the park and past the main lake.

After a short break, we go past the medieval village of Cosmeston, through Lavernock to Swanbridge. There is an optional visit across the tidal causway to visit Sully Island with its views along the heritage coast. The final leg is back to Sully via the sports club recreational fields.
