Overview

A round of Naddle valley, taking in one of Lakeland's honeypot historic sites.

This gentle field ramble leads over the low ridge by St John's Church into Naddle valley and to Castlerigg Stone Circle. We then slip into the delightful wooded depths of the Greta gorge and then we return to Thelkeld via the old railway track.

There is an option to stop for refreshments at the Village Hall just before the end of the walk.
