Overview

This moderate walk starts from Slaggyford Station car park and heads SE to Thompson's Well bridge, Cross River to Williamston.

We then head northwards passing Parsons Shields, The Bog, Eals Bridge, through the hamlet of Eals to the footbridge below Whitwhan, then follow the South Tyne Trail back to Slaggyford.
