Overview

From The Black Lion pub, we walk uphill (but not steep!) on a quiet road for about 1.5 miles towards Binsey past lime kilns where we have views over the Uldale fells  until we reach High Ireby.

From there, were we take a farm lane over Whittas with great views again over Solway coast and Lakeland fells then on to Whitrigg and down to Torpenhow finally back by Ireby old church.
