Overview

Start time 10am. Start point Clough House CP Wildboarclough.

Around 8.5 miles. 2158 feet of ascent. Moderate but strenuous at times. Some difficult terrain and boggy areas if wet.   Route follows Cumberland Brook, Danebower Hollow, Danebrook Quarries, Orchard Farm, Three Shire Bridge, along Dane Valley Way, Manor Farm, over moors East of Birchenough Hill back to start point. Packed lunch please and poles recommended. No dogs please.

The route to Three Shire Bridge may be slightly altered.
