West Mendip Walkers easy 8.7 miles circular walk with 1,210 feet of climb from Exford Car Park (TA24 7PP).
The walk heads SE from the car park following the River Exe to North Court where we follow the Exe Valley Way up to the top of Room Hill with spectacular views (weather permitting) across Exmoor. We then descend and turn east to Nethercote where we walk on a succession of tracks until we reach Kemps. We then turn back and walk along the banks of the River Exe until we arrive back at West Nethercote. From here we head north, following the River Exe alongside Lyncome Hill until we reach the small hamlet of Lyncombe. We then traverse across open moor and fields back to Exford. Dog
