Overview

This is a walk through some of Derbyshire’s finest limestone dales, at the very best time of year for spring flowers. The slopes of upper Biggin Dale in particular will be a riot of Early Purple Orchids, Cowslips and Meadow Saxifrage… As well as the usual bird life, this is a good location for summer visitors like redstarts; and peregrines have nested on the crags of Wolfscote Dale.
