Overview

A walk along the route above the Greywell Tunnel on the Basingstoke canal, to Up Nately, then returning across open countryside with good views. Our return route is via Greywell Mill and the Church beside the river Whitewater.

This walk is mostly on well managed bridleways, but there are some rutted areas after some forestry work. It was dry underfoot on the pre-walk. There are no stiles and a slight hill at the start.

Numbers on this walk will be limited and it is essential to register for the walk with the walk leader. All requests to join the walk will be acknowledged.
