This is an interesting walk through East Hampshire Countryside, starting at Medstead we walk past the Convent, along tracks and fields to Wivelrod and onto Bentworth village green for coffee. Tracks to Lower and Upper Wield. Mattingley and back to Medstead. Undulating countryside with far reaching views.
This is a picnic walk, please bring lunch, snacks and drinks.
There are a few stiles, and 3 hills on paths. Hopefully most of the mud and puddles will have dried out. Poles are advisable if used.
Please let me know if you are joining this walk as we may leave early if all known walkers have arrived.
Parking in the lay by on the right hand side of Roe Downs Road, Medstead, GU34 5LG.
