Overview

This annual event involves a figure of eight walk, combining two half marathons, both starting and finishing in Shawford.

The Morning Half Marathon will start at c8.00am, and is likely to return back to Shawford for about 1.15pm.  The route will be via Twyford, Owslebury, St.Catherine's Hill and the Itchen Navigation.

The Afternoon Half Marathon will start at about 1.30pm, and is likely to be back in Shawford for about 6.15pm.  The route will be via the River Itchen, Allbrook, Hursley, Silkstead and Compton Down.

There will be two very brief snack breaks for each Half Marathon.

We will have a "quick" lunch stop back in Shawford after the completion of the Morning Half Marathon

THOSE TAKING PART CAN EITHER WALK A HALF MARATHON, OR THE FULL MARATHON.
