Come join us on a pleasant 10 mile circular walk from Bakewell.
We follow the Monsal Trail for a short while, passing through Headstone Tunnel, over the scenic viaduct, then head off on a riverside walk alongside the River Wye. For lunch stop, we have plenty of seating and toilets, then we head into Deep Dale Nature Reserve towards Ashford. After Ashford, we head back to Bakewell to complete this circular route.
Dog friendly, however dogs will need to be kept on a lead due to breeding season.
Monsal trail is very flat, and is popular with walkers and cyclists. When walking please can we try to keep to one side.
However, during the recce, the riverside walk was quite muddy, plus also the walk into Deep Dale is quite steep. In addition we have to walk a very short distance through a dry riverbed, however if it has been raining this may be wet. Appropriate boots and poles are recommended for this part of the route.

Meet near Payment machines / EV Chargers at Bakewell Bridge Car Park - Parking there is £6 all day. Alternative parking available at the Agriculture Centre.
