Venture up to the West Riding for a lovely 5 mile circular walk around the lakes of St Aidan's RSPB nature reserve, returning via the canal towpath. Very easy, leisurely pace, no stiles, flat, good paths and tracks throughout.
We will stop for coffee/cake/toasties at the excellent Green House coffee shop (outdoor seating only) towards the end of the walk. Toilets available half way at the RSPB visitor centre. Bring binoculars. St Aidan's is home to many resident and migratory birds including several rare species.
Dogs are very welcome but MUST be on short fixed leads please to protect both birds and wildlife on the reserve.

Meet at 10.00 am in the free car park at the bottom of Fleet Lane, Woodlesford, opposite the derelict fuel depot. NOTE the nearest postcode is for Lemonroyd Marina - do not turn off the road at the marina, stay on Fleet Lane, driving over the canal bridge, round a bend and the car park is about 200yds further along on the right.
