Overview

The walk will be 7.5 miles moderate circular with approx 350m of ascent.  It will start at the top of Harlech town and will explore the quiet and interesting countryside east towards Hafod y Llyn, with a 1-mile section along the beach between Llanfair and Harlech Morfa. The views are spectacular to the Rhinogs and out across Tremadog Bay to the Llyn peninsula (see attached photo).  The terrain is hilly in part, but not too steep, with good paths and lanes and there are a few step stiles over stone walls. The steepest part is in Harlech itself!
