Please do join us around 12.30 pm, to meet fellow Bath Ramblers members, find out what is happening, and to let us know if there is anything else you would like your group to be doing.
You may also like to join the 10.00 am pre-AGM walk, which should offer superb views - weather permitting! If going on the walk, please bring a change of footwear so we can avoid taking muddy walking boots into the AGM.
The walkers, and other members, will meet up in the village hall at 12.30.
Please bring your own lunch, but we will provide hot and cold drinks, nibbles, and cakes.
The AGM will start around 1.15 pm and AGM papers will be available to read on arrival. Our guest speaker will be Stephen Bird, (formerly Head of Heritage Services at B&NES Council), and he will give us an illustrated talk about how the Romans influenced our walking network.
As there is limited parking close to the hall, you may wish to arrive by bus - catch the No. 3 from the bus station and get off at the Batheaston Stambridge stop (opposite the car park on the High Street) and then walk up to the hall.
For drivers, there is free parking on Sundays in the High Street car park, or alongside the shops opposite. Further on-street parking spaces are available on London Road East, the main road from Batheaston towards Bathford and Box.
