Overview

For anyone who might be interested ...
There's a free ceilidh in Wakefield on 20/12/25, 7-10.30pm.

It's been a while since there's been a ceilidh on the Take A Hike socials board.

I've no idea what this free public event will be like, but I'm hoping it will be good fun.  There will be a live band, and a caller for the dances.  There is a bar at the venue.

The building is next to Wakefield bus station.  There are car parks and street parking nearby (some are free after 6.00pm, some are not). The train station is a short walk from the building.

Union Street, Wakefield, WF1 3AD. It could be busy inside, and likely to be cold outside. I'll wait outside the entrance from 6.45pm, then go inside at 7.00pm. There is no guarantee of getting seating or a table once inside (it depends how busy the event is, and how the room is laid out to allow space for dancing).
