I plan to arrange a pony trekking social on 14 September 2025. The social will take place at Bilsdale Trekking Centre and will involve a horse ride out along beautiful bridle ways, forestry paths, farmland, moorland and green lanes.
Subject to sufficient numbers, we can book out the whole session which would potentially give us the option of splitting the group into two, based on riding experience (e.g. a group of individuals with some experience and a group for beginners).
The experienced group would go for a 2 hour session which will be £60 per person. On the website, it suggests that there may be an option for a shorter ride option for beginners, which would be less but I will confirm as applicable.
The trekking centre will provide riding hat.
There is a weight limit of 14.5 stone for horse welfare purposes.
Due to the nature of this social, the event requires pre-booking and is limited to 15 individuals, so if you would like to join please contact myself, Lizzie at Lizziehugill@gmail.com. I will need to know riding capabilities so I can determine if there is sufficient numbers to have a split group.
