This is no 'ordinary' Tuesday walk.
This is also a family walk, to which you can bring friends and family members, young and old.
This walk will involve celebrating our local Roman history, walking up Croy Hill to see Silvanus, a huge head sculpture of a Roman Soldier.
All walkers must be able to participate in a walk across uneven terrain, and an uphill section.
For the children there will be a fun quiz and a snack bag provided
Following the event, you may wish to take children to Auchinstarry Roman Play Park.
Meet at 10.00 am at The Boathouse car park Auchinstarry, Kilsyth, G65 9SG Bus 435 from Cumbernauld/Kilsyth, or NEW BUS ROUTE 72 from Falkirk via Bonnybridge or from Glasgow via Kirkintilloch.
To book on this walk, text Helen Hancock on 07940 340409, with your full name.
Please indicate friends/children you may be bringing along. PLEASE NOTE, IT IS NOT COMPULSORY TO DO SO AS YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TO TAKE PART IN OUR TUESDAY WALK AS PER USUAL. SEE YOU THEN.
