This year's Festival has 24 walks on offer over the three days from Friday the 26th September to Sunday the 28th. These range from bird watching along the banks of the Wye to a forest steam train adventure. The theme this year is a special celebration of the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Wye Valley Walk.
Many of the walks are along the Wye and two linear walks will appeal to the longer distance walker with transport included. The grades are from easy to strenuous and all are described in full on the website www.walkinginross.co.uk
Bookings at £5 per walk are made through the website or at Rossiter Books in Ross, Monmouth, or Leominster.
