We are Coalville Ramblers - a friendly group based in the heart of the National Forest. We offer a programme of 3 walks each week, from 5 miles to 10 plus.

Overview

A 2 day walking break at the Elan Valley Lodge in mid Wales.  The weekend break will include 2 nights in either single accommodation or twin rooms.  The twin rooms are all en suite and the single rooms a mix of en suite or jack and jill bathrooms.  Breakfast, packed lunches and a 3 course evening meal are included for both days.  You can make your own flask in the residents kitchen and home made cake is available on the Friday and Saturday afternoons.  Licensed honesty bar with a selection of wines and beers.  Walkers will need to make their own transport arrangements to the Elan Valley - car sharing is suggested.  Arrival 5pm Friday, departure after the guided walk on the Sunday.

There will be a local guide for the walks.

Places are limited (12 single rooms, 12 twin rooms).  Please contact Louise T at louise.tidman@btinternet.com if you are interested.  There is a £30 non refundable deposit payable to secure a place with the balance payable to the venue when the trip takes place.
