Overview

Join John on this rare visit to Cannock Chase for a 6.5 mile leisurely ramble. While there the walk visits Katyn Memorial (Polish), the German Military Cemetery and the Commonwealth Cemetery. A coffee break will be taken at the visitor centre where a cafe and toilets are available. Cannock Chase was made infamous in the 1960s when 3 young girls were murdered by Raymond Morris and found on the Chase. Now more well known as a designated National Landscape and popular tourist attraction.

There are no stiles or gates on the walk.

Due to the journey time to Cannock Chase (approx 1 hour) car sharing where possible would be beneficial.
