Lang Toun Daunderers walks, which normally start & finish in Kirkcaldy, are on the first Tuesday of each month, with the option of lunch at a local venue afterwards. To vary our programme of walks we plan to venture beyond Kirkcaldy but these will still be short walks of up to 4/5 miles. Look for the Tuesday, Lang Toun Daunderers walks here.
We walk on paths, tracks, old railway lines, through heather, mud, forests, riversides and up hills for panoramic views.
We see deer, red squirrels, sea eagles, herons and other wee birds - but more usually horses & cattle.
Other sights are historic houses, towers and ruins, along with unusual trees and flowers.
Of course, not forgetting the changing scenery, which the four seasons bring.
Please bring boots, waterproofs and something to sit on, whilst enjoying your packed lunch on the likes of a fallen tree trunk.
We look forward to your company on our walks
