Overview

JOINT WALK WITH MAD WALKERS. ALSO OPEN TO THE PUBLIC VIA THE 'WE INVENTED THE WEEKEND FESTIVAL'

This easy, step-free afternoon ‘walk for all’ forms part of the exciting ‘We Invented the
Weekend Walk’ festival taking place at MediaCityUK on the weekend of 3 and 4 June.
The level, circular route includes an easy section of GM Ringway – Greater Manchester’s walking trail - as well as other local paths.

Highlights of the walk, which is also suitable for new or returning walkers, wheelchair-users and families with children, include:
– Virtually all of the Salford Quays waterfront
– The green oasis of Ordsall Park
– The modern architecture of Imperial War Museum North and MediaCity UK
– Ordsall Hall, a Tudor manor house and gardens in the heart of Salford.

As the event is also open to the public, it would be helpful if you could book a
free place via this link: bit.ly/WiTWwalk2023.
