Overview

A circular "figure of eight" walk East of Winchester, starting from Itchen Abbas, following the Oxdrove Way and the Wayfarer's Walk.  The route passes through the historic village of Abbotstone, then onto Abbotstone Down, and returns via Old Alresford.

This is a relatively straightforward ramble, using long-established paths and taking in an open landscape of fields, with small sections of woodland walking.
