Circular walk northwards on the Itchen Way then north westwards to Comptonon a green lane track to the edge of Oliver’s Battery, over Yew Hill to Silkstead. From there we use footpaths back to the river Itchen, retracing our steps to the start at Otterbourne.
Please bring all food and drink for the day, it is a picnic walk. There will be mud and there may be rain, so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and bring walking poles if you use them.
