Starting from Kilmeston, we head south on the Wayfarer's Walk for a steep climb up to Wind Farm and then follow the South Downs Way to Beacon Hill before descending to Warnford. Returning north along tracks and field paths, we skirt Hinton Ampner and again join the Wayfarer's Walk on our return to Kilmeston. The route uses tracks and field paths and is currently dry underfoot. There are lovely views from different locations en route.
This is a circular picnic walk. There will be two stops, al fresco, for drinks and snacks. Please ensure that you are suitably equipped for various winter weathers.
