We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is a countryside walk through fields, along tracks and short stretch of road walking. We leave the village hall, walk to Daylesford, Manor Farm, Bramdean Common to see the Church In the Woods, Smugglers Lane, to Swelling Hill Pond. Back to the village hall along the St Swithuns Way.
This is a picnic walk, please bring snacks, lunch and drinks.
Poles are advisable if used, will be muddy in parts.
This walk is followed by the Mince Pie Social occasion at the village hall, we will therefore be starting the walk at 09.30 am.
Please let me know if you are joining the walk, as we may leave early if all known walkers have arrived.
Parking is behind Ropley Village Hall (telephone kiosk near turn off Vicarage Lane), drive through the car park, up the slope and park in the gravelled car park.
