Join members of eight local Ramblers groups for a pre Area AGM social walk led by Kingswood Ramblers. No need to book for the walk.
Starting from the Hanham Community Centre car park, we will make our way to Avon Valley Woodlands Nature Reserve for a gentle fairly level 4-mile walk, through the woods and along the River Avon pathway, taking in some of the history and rich heritage of the local area, including Hanham Colliery.
Walking boots are advisable, and walking poles would be helpful for a couple of sections of the walk which are likely to be muddy.
A buffet and the Area AGM follow this walk so please bring a change of footwear for wearing indoors.*

Free parking at Hanham Community Centre, 118-124 High St, Hanham, Bristol BS15 3EJ which will be open for us to use the toilets. Meet outside the Community Centre at 10.20 am, ready to start walking at 10.30 am.
