Overview

Leave car park and proceed down minor road through Lowood Nursery to river bank. A lovely walk along the riverbank and under the Redbridge Viaduct until we reach the path that skirts the back of Tweedbank. Through a lane into the housing estate, continue through the estate until we reach the gate for the Solway Woodland Trail. Follow this trail through woodland for approx 1km emerging at Tweedbank Industrial Estate. Continue towards Greggs and cross the road and take the path to the left back to the railway station.

Paths and minor roads, care to be taken of tree roots and when crossing roads.

Boots and poles recommended.

There will be a snack and drinks stop.
