We walk through a meadow with lovely views, and up to the Ridgeway Path, then pass The Crong to Bittams Wood in Dancers End Nature Reserve and through the reserve where there will be orchids. We then amble along some pleasant paths and quiet roads then back along the Ridgeway, and back to The Hale. There are some moderate hills. It is a lovely route, especially if we get some evening sunshine, which would also be good for photographs. On the recce there were cows with calves and a very calm Hereford bull in the field of the Ridgeway path. All were very docile and unphased by my small dogs so no concerns.
All are welcome to get a takeaway when we are back in Wendover. (Suggest from the George & Dragon for Thai Cuisine) https://georgeanddragonwendover.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Take-Away-Menu.pdf
