Overview

We head west along paths and fields below Buckland common and skirt Dundridge Manor, (a grade 2 listed Tudor farmhouse with a now dry saxon moat), before heading to St Leonards with it’s pretty church. We then enter Buckland wood where we will stop for lunch.  We continue through Drayton woods to emerge at Cholesbury camp. We walk around part of the camp and then cross the common back to our start point. The route is fairly flat with mild inclines. There may be cattle in a field and horses in another. We can detour away from the cattle if necessary. This walk encounters a couple of stiles.

Bring a packed lunch

We may partake of refreshments at the Full Moon PH after the walk.

Well behaved dogs are allowed.
