You can leave your picnic in your car whilst we walk. The communal picnic bench where we can take lunch is close to the car park.

There are no toilets on the route. The cafe and toilets at Avenue Nurseries on The Avenue, GU34 5SU are less than five minutes drive away.

Unfortunately, the route is not suitable for dogs. There is one stile.

The North Car Park on the Home Farm Estate. Not marked on the OS map. From Alton travel three and a half miles north along the A339 towards Basingstoke. Half a mile after the Bentworth-Lasham cross roads and just after a set of double bends turn left, signposted Burkham, Bradley and Preston Candover. The car park is 100 yards on the left. If approaching from the north, the turning is not signposted.
