This is a walk around the Meonstoke and Droxford area, starting in Meonstoke. We are making use of the old railway line which will be shady if the weather is hot and we will also be heading to Wilfrid’s Café which is a delightful community café in Droxford, serving coffee, tea, cakes and ice-cream.
We meet in the car park of the Bucks Head, Meonstoke and the pub will be open at 10am for us to place our lunch orders prior to walking and use the facilities. The pub is well known for its authentic Italian pizzas, cooked in an oven imported from Italy, but it does other food as well. Car sharing is advised as the car park is not huge. Booking is essential and numbers will be limited. Please let me know by 6pm Tuesday 24th using the email link if you would like to join us and whether you wish to stay for lunch.
