Overview

This is a joint walk with Calderdale Ramblers.  Updated information from walk leader below following recce on 26/1:

It is extremely wet underfoot on many of the paths.

I have changed the route somewhat and have decided not to go cross the valley towards Stoodley Pike but have rather ventured towards Blackshaw Head.

The walk (as expected) is over 8 miles (nearer 9) but we can cut the walk short if the weather is poor or if people are struggling with the ground conditions. There is one not too pleasant climb 3/4 way around the walk (if we do the whole route).

There are a few places where we are walking on roads for 50-100 metres.
