From the car park we head for Charlestown Road to walk on the path to head for the River Dee. We will walk along the side of the river and head for Bell Wood which will eventually take us to Bellwade Farm horse centre. This is a pleasant walk. The path along the riverside is quite narrow and uneven in places. At Bellwade horse centre we will have our lunch stop where there is a cafe and toilets. We return by passing the horse centre and go steadily uphill around the open fields and back into the woodland paths. Nice views at this area. Some boardwalk in the woods on our return.
Terrain: Tarmac lane, farm tracks, boardwalk and woodland tracks.
