We will meet at Spital of Glen Dye. Crossing the Water of Dye by the bridge, we follow the river as far as Charr Bothy. Then heading south, we follow the Water of Charr. Passing Hound Hillock, Hill of Craigiedarg to Glen Muchrae. We return to the Old Military Road, finishing our walk at the Clatterin Brig Restaurant. Most, or if not all of us, will return to the Spital of Glen Dye in the cars parked there.
We are walking on landrover tracks and other good paths.

Early Booking is essential. This is a linear (one way) walk, which will require cars at both ends of the walk. Therefore early booking is required so that drivers can be organised in time. If you leave a message please remember to leave your name and contact telephone number. Confirmation of your booking is required for attendance. It is essential for the walk leader to know who is coming on the walk and to be able to contact people should there be any changes. Please remember to contact the walk leader if you are no longer able to attend.
Good walking boots, gaiters advisable and waterproofs essential. Bring food and drink. Walking poles if required..

Toilets – there are no toilets on this route. The nearest public toilets are in Banchory.
