The walk starts in Acomb at the bus stop near the shops (one stop after the Regent) and follows tracks and field paths with a few stiles to Streethouses. The walk goes to Knapton then Rufforth along the cycle path then continues to Askham Richard and Bilborough. It could be muddy in places so gaiters and poles may be useful.

Catch the No 1 bus towards Chapelfields from opp the Railway Station, stop RF, at 9.29 to Acomb shops.
The walk ends at the Coastliner stop on the A64 where we can catch the bus back to York. The buses are every half hour.
