Overview

We start in Alrewas and follow the River Trent up to Yoxall Bridge which was built in the mid 18th century  and used until 1998 when it was replaced by the modern bridge . We then walk through the lovely village of Yoxall which has an entry in the Doomsday book of 1086 and has the original name of Locheshale which means '' farm in the valley '', then return along the The National Forest Way and Millenium Way through woodland to Alrewas .

There are several stiles.
