Starting from the Car Park in Alstonefield, we will head off in the direction Milldale, then follow the River Dove past Shining Tor, Iron Tor, Peaseland Rocks to Wolfscote Dale where we'll stop for lunch. Its then through Beresford Dale to Hartington where we'll again pause for a drink at The Devonshire Arms. Its then cross country back to Alstonefield. The walk contains a mixture of tracks, paths, country lanes, and the odd stile. Dogs ok, however must be kept under control when passing by livestock. Lunch required
