This walk involves a bus ride. Information on the web suggests the fare is £5.50! but if you have a bus pass….
We will meet at West Port, travel to Dollar, park where there is availability and the "start point" is a bus stop outside the Madras Takeaway and a Pub (South Side of Bridge Street). Buses are not plentiful and we are aiming for the 8.50 am departure. Just under 15 minutes takes us to Alva from where we will ascend through the woods onto a track before striking towards Ben Ever and on to Ben Cleuch, Andrew Gannel, Kingseat and Dollar
