Overview

Technically (and this matters if your are checking Met Office Hill Forecasts) we are climbing Stob Dearg and then Stob na Broige. There are impressive faces on the Buachaiile but we are passing those by! We make our way up to a saddle in the ridge, do a brief "out and back" to Stob Dearg before traversing the long line of tops to Stob na Brioge (further than you think!). The good news, however, is that part way back we drop into the Lairig Gartain and follow a path back to the cars…. Estimated time back in Linlithgow is 7.30pm.
