A circular walk starting from Old Star, East Keswick . A hilly fast paced 7-8 miles covering East Keswick- Bardsey past the primary school, though the old castle mount, across busy A58 to Hetchell Woods/ Pompocali and an underground stream (never known to have dried up ). Up to a track skirting Braham Woods through Wothersome , to little roads back to East Rigton and Bardsey through to East Keswick .
A mixture of road and tracks and can be v muddy in places when it’s rained .

Walk to start 10.30 and aim to finish before 2.30 pm . Bus route 99 from Leeds - Wetherby . Parking in side streets opposite the Old Star public house in EastKeswick . There are no shops / cafes on route / so please bring own refreshments. The pace is usually quick brisk .As walk leader has to be back to do school pick ups . Can be v muddy in parks when it’s rained . Pub May be open at end of walk for toilets and refreshments.
