Overview

The walk will start by taking in a couple of high points in and around the South Downs National Park. We'll then head towards the Seven Sisters to walk on the hilly coastal path to the pebbled beach of Seaford.  Please bring pack up and snacks to eat en-route.  Total ascent 900m. Pub stop at the end. If the weather is favourable, the plan is to have food and drink on the beach at the end of the walk. There is sea swimming options for those wanting to cool off.

Terrain: Hills, downs

Travel: Take the 8:54 from London Victoria (9:01 Clapham Junction, 9:10 East Croydon) arr. Polegate 10:09. Buy return to Polegate.

There might be a need to buy a single from Seaford to Lewes for the return leg.
