Overview

An undulating walk through the beautiful Limekiln Woods, Wenlock Woods and The Wrekin Forest, below The Wrekin and The Ercall, with bluebells galore and outstanding views of distant hills.  Walk starts and ends from outside the Leisure Centre in Wellington where there is a cafe and toilets.

Some ups and downs and a few muddy bits in places. Bring a drink and a packed lunch. There are lots of pubs and cafes in Wellington if you want to linger after the walk. Free parking is available in the car park across the road from the Leisure Centre or in the Long Stay car park near the railway station, a short walk away from the start.
