Overview

The walk starts by walking along the right side of the Reservoir - unfortunately the footpath is closed at the far end so we’ll have to walk below it - be aware that footpath is a bit boggy - then we join the path along the Reservoir again before we turn off and walk towards Upper Dicker along the Cuckmere River.

Coffee stop somewhere along the River.

We then continue towards Marnhull Farm from where we follow the Vanguard Way then veer off towards Eckington where we will have lunch in - yep you guessed it - in the churchyard. From there we’ll make our way back to starting point.

A beautiful walk, although will be wet and boggy after rain.
