One of my favourite walks, through the redundant Asham Quarry and through Asham Woods on the East Mendip Way, returning via Whatley and Nunney Brook. The walk is likely to be muddy in places and with deep puddles. Wellies or good leather boots are advised, as is a walking pole to avoid slipping. There is a busy road crossing and a few hundred metres on a road. In compensation, the walk has scenery as spectacular as anything else in the Mendips. Bring provisions for 2 stops.
Please note: the Finish Time is an estimate and may vary.
