Overview

We hope to see you for a hilly walk through the central and southern area of the Ashdown Forest with attractive heathland and woodland. On a clear day there are some excellent views south towards the Downs and north towards the Greensand Ridge.

Picnic lunch at the halfway stage on the village green at Fairwarp, with the option of a drink at the lovely Forester's Arms opposite. Some nimbleness required where there are exposed tree roots/fallen branches.

Please car share if possible. Dogs on leads please due to potential of ground nesting birds (Ashdown Forest advice).
