Overview

Down Ashes Hollow and then up Ashes Hollow; arguably the best hollow on the Long Mynd, and this walk goes in both directions. Starting with an easy ascent up Townbrook Valley and then descending over Long Synalds into Ashes Hollow. Excellent walking over the whole 8.5 miles.

We shall meet at the car park at the top of Cunnery Road, this is almost opposite the entrance to the HF House (Church Stretton) and at the south most point of Rectory Field. The car park is free; there are no loos.
